Therapeutic gardens

 

Buxus2002 is specialized in designing and establishment of Therapeutic Gardens (TG) in the care sector.

 

TG are physical spaces that are designed to help and relief people under psychological stress that can occur at Hospitals and other care-centers. TG could also be designed for the therapeutic treatments outdoor such as physical, cognitive and occupational therapies. These spaces are carefully planned so patients and employees can feel absolute control and safety.

 

In some evaluations of TG we can appreciate:

1. Shorter hospital stays and less use of strong pain medications.

2. Less “work absence” for employees when able to work also outside with their patients.

3. Less stress in general among employees and as a consequence, a higher efficiency..

4. In general a much higher quality perception from visiting families and friends.

 

Buxus2002 designed and planned several TG that can be seen among the Projects.

 

During the next coming years buxus2002 is planning to establish “pilot gardens” in hospital spaces that are going to be evaluated scientifically.
